About Me

Hello! I'm Hillary. By day I'm a software engineer — which means I spend a lot of my life shortsighted: neck-deep in deadlines, numbers, and the small problems that somehow feel enormous when a deadline approaches. And every chance I get, I travel. 🌍

Travelling is how I zoom out. It reminds me how small we all are against the size of this world, and how nothing really matters compared to the sheer length of infinite time (okay — that got deep fast, stay with me 😅). And yet, for how vast the world is, the one constant at every corner of the world is that people seem to always find joy in the simple things of life. The memories and laughter with loved ones, the small moments. Those are what matters in life - not the next deadline.

So I share the travel finds that sparked joy for me, in hopes of inspiring your next trip. I really do believe this is part of what we're here for — not to grind out todo lists, but to see other cultures, make community, and enjoy the beautiful world we all share.
