A Little About This Trip
Two days in Seville is enough to see the major sights, but you should expect two wonderfully full days! ☀️ Start with the Cathedral, Giralda, and Royal Alcázar before flamenco and Plaza de España. The Alcázar became one of the most impressive buildings I have ever walked through—we spent hours exploring the palace, gardens, maze, and free-roaming peacocks. 🦚 Plaza de España is just as gorgeous, and I still cannot believe you can wander around it for free!
Day two brings you into the old center for Casa de Pilatos and Las Setas before the Guadalquivir riverfront and a tapas crawl. Please make room for the food: JESTER’s açaí bowl was one of my trip highlights, and the tuna and tomato burrata at Atávico were a full 10 out of 10. 😋 If you can stay another day, my 3-day Seville itinerary adds Triana and gives the city a gentler pace. The 4-day itinerary adds Itálica or Córdoba.

- The world’s largest Gothic cathedral—and it is absolutely beautiful
- UNESCO listed since 1987
- I had never seen an organ or altarpiece that detailed before! 🤯

La Giralda Bell Tower Climb
Why this stop?
- Climb a 104-meter former minaret for sweeping Seville views
- Step beside the bells and look across the Cathedral rooftops 🔔

- The climb has 35 continuous ramps and no lift
- Tower access comes with the Cathedral’s timed ticket
- Choose an early slot during hot weather
Royal Alcázar of Seville
Why this stop?
- Europe’s oldest royal palace still in use—and it is absolutely stunning
- I came for Game of Thrones and stayed for the INCREDIBLE tilework! 🐉
- Huge gardens hide peacocks, fountains, and a maze

- Mediterranean tapas tucked inside a covered passage near the Alcázar
- The scallop was my favorite bite! 😋

- No microphones—you hear every voice, guitar note, and footstep naturally
- Only around 80 seats put you incredibly close to the performers

- A massive semicircular plaza with a canal and four tiled bridges
- Absolutely GORGEOUS, completely free, and one of my Seville favorites! 🤍
