A Little About This Trip
Vegas is loud, over-the-top, and SO much fun—and two days here can still fit in a surprising amount! 🎰✨ This itinerary starts with the classic Strip experiences I would want on a short first trip: the Bellagio fountains, a big Vegas buffet, the High Roller, the Venetian, Sphere, Hell’s Kitchen, and even a helicopter flight over all that neon. Day two mixes the STRAT and AREA15 with old-school Vegas at the Neon Museum before ending with O at the Bellagio and one more look at the city lights. 🚁🌃
Two days will be busy, so this route focuses on the biggest experiences without trying to squeeze in a desert day too. If you can stay longer, I really recommend it! My three-day Strip and Downtown Vegas itinerary adds a full day for Fremont Street and the Arts District, while the four-day Vegas itinerary gives you time for downtown AND a Hoover Dam or Valley of Fire adventure. 🏜️

Before You Go to Vegas
Honestly? Two days covers the Strip and not much else. You'll get the Bellagio fountains, the Venetian's canals, a spin on the High Roller, The Wizard of Oz at Sphere, downtown neon, and O after dark. What you won't get is a slow day downtown or anything out in the desert. If Hoover Dam or Red Rock Canyon is on your list, give yourself three or four days.
Spend day one on the center Strip so you can walk instead of drive — the Bellagio, Bacchanal, the High Roller, the Venetian and Sphere all sit a few minutes apart, and dinner at Hell's Kitchen leaves you set up for a night helicopter flight. Day two spreads out: start at Madame Tussauds, then head to the STRAT, AREA15 and the Neon Museum before returning to the Bellagio for O and finishing on the late open-top bus tour. Grab a car or a rideshare for the middle of that day.
Book The Wizard of Oz at Sphere and O at Bellagio first. Both are fixed-seat experiences that shape this very short Vegas itinerary, while the hotels, fountains and most daytime stops can stay flexible. 🎭
Not on day one. Everything from the Westin to Sphere is walkable or one short taxi ride, and the Strip is honestly BETTER on foot. Day two is another story — the STRAT, AREA15 and the Neon Museum are spread across the north end and downtown, and the bus between them is a long ride. Rideshares are the easy answer, and AREA15 parking is free if you do drive.
