A Little About This Trip
Three days in Vegas is such a fun sweet spot when you want the huge Strip moments AND the completely different energy of downtown! 🎰✨ This route starts with the Bellagio fountains, the Venetian, Sphere, Hell’s Kitchen, and a helicopter flight over the neon. Then you’ll spend a day mixing the High Roller and AREA15 with two Vegas shows before heading downtown for the STRAT, Arts District, Mob Museum, Fremont Street, SlotZilla, and the old casino signs at the Neon Museum. 🌃
Downtown Vegas was one of my favorite parts of the trip—we bounced between live-music stages under the Fremont canopy, danced at the country stage, and had the best time! 🤠 If you only have a weekend, use my two-day Vegas itinerary. If Hoover Dam and the desert are higher on your list, choose my three-day Strip and Hoover Dam itinerary instead, or add everything with the four-day Vegas itinerary. 🏜️

Before You Go to Vegas
Yes — three days gives you the center Strip, the High Roller, O and AREA15 without skipping downtown. Day three starts at Downtown Grand, heads up the STRAT, then moves through the Arts District, Mob Museum, Fremont Street and Neon Museum. What it misses is the desert, so add a fourth day if Hoover Dam or Red Rock Canyon matters to you.
Yes — downtown feels completely different from the Strip, and there's enough here to fill a day. The Mob Museum covers organized-crime history inside the old federal courthouse, the Golden Nugget and Fremont Street put you in original Vegas, and the Neon Museum collects the old casino signs. If your dates line up, First Friday turns the Arts District into a free evening event with local artists, food trucks and live music.
Reserve The Wizard of Oz at Sphere and O at Bellagio first, then choose a Neon Museum time for the downtown day. Those are the three scheduled attractions most likely to affect the route; ordinary meals do not need to crowd this booking list.
Honestly, just take a rideshare — it's about ten minutes between the two, and the bus down Las Vegas Boulevard takes way longer than the map makes it look. Once you're downtown, park once and leave it: the free Downtown Loop shuttle links Fremont Street, the Arts District and the other downtown stops, so you won't need the car again until you head back. And if you'd rather skip driving entirely, the Downtown Grand has free parking, no resort fee, and sits two minutes from the Mob Museum.
